Overview

We are currently seeking a Product Sales Account Manager for PRG Japan, the world's leading comprehensive event service provider. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring sales projects and equipment rentals. As an Account Manager, you will lead the process of project acquisition by researching and identifying sales opportunities through various sources such as PRG internal data, media, the Internet, and personal connections. Communication skills in English are highly preferred as the equipment involves overseas products. Please note that occasional work outside regular hours may be required for teleconferences with overseas parties.

Qualifications

Requirements: To be considered for this role, the following qualifications are necessary.

  • Experience in B2B sales of tangible products or agency sales.
  • Knowledge of the sales process and the ability to manage sales and profit figures.
  • Strong ability to think and act independently.
  • Proficiency in business document writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Native-level Japanese language skills.

Other Considerations: In addition to the core requirements, the following qualities are advantageous.

  • Basic knowledge of lighting, sound, and video equipment is preferred.
  • Self-starter with a positive, proactive, and responsible attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong team player mentality.
  • Applicants with English communication skills will receive preferential treatment.

 

Employment Type: This position is available for both permanent employees and contract employees (1 year).

 

Probation Period: A 6-month probation period will be in effect.

 

Work Location: The primary work location is Tokyo, with the possibility of remote work upon request.

 

Work Hours: Standard work hours are from 9:00 to 17:30.

 

Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays are non-working days. However, there may be instances where work is required on holidays based on assigned tasks, in which case substitute leave will be provided. Additional holidays include year-end and New Year holidays, congratulatory or condolence leave, and annual paid leave.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Approach potential customers, deliver presentations and demonstrations, and secure new accounts.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and promote sales by visiting existing customers, primarily focusing on lighting equipment for production.
  • Perform product inspections and adjustments.

  • Contribute to sales growth by developing or supporting sales strategies.
  • Collaborate as a team member to ensure project success.
  • Adhere to company policies and rules while striving to improve processes and increase efficiency.
