PRG in Belgium  is seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to support and maintain our computer infrastructure across multiple locations. As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software. You'll provide both remote and onsite support, diagnose technical issues, and collaborate with global IT teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of IT experience
  • Desirable knowledge and experience in:
    • Windows 10/11 & Apple Mac
    • Microsoft 365 Suite (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • ITIL Service Management (Level 1)
    • Anti-virus software
  • Strong communication skills (fluent in English and Dutch, verbal and written)
  • Excellent administrative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and resolve them efficiently
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and reliable
  • Keen to learn new technologies and develop your IT expertise
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Responsibilities

  • Manage IT onboarding & offboarding processes
  • Procure IT hardware, including computers, laptops, mobile phones, and peripherals
  • Install and configure operating systems and applications using in-house technologies
  • Maintain local infrastructure, including UPS, wireless networks, printers, alarms, and cabling
  • Oversee software license management and deployment
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues, diagnosing hardware and software faults
  • Test and evaluate new technologies
  • Conduct electrical safety checks on IT equipment
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related issues and document resolutions
  • Provide support, create procedural documentation, and generate relevant reports
  • Assist in rolling out new applications and setting up user accounts and profiles
  • Prioritize and manage multiple cases efficiently
  • Work closely with the PRG EMEA IT team and collaborate with global IT professionals
  • Manage relationships with local suppliers and service providers
