Production Resource Group (PRG) is seeking an experienced and strategic professional to take on the role of Head of Asset Management – BeNeFra. In this pivotal position, you will be responsible for overseeing asset operations across Belgium, the Netherlands, and France. Working closely with the Director of Operations BeNeFra and the Global Asset Management Team, your primary goal will be to maximise the efficiency and utilisation of our rental assets while leading and developing a high-performing asset management team.
Your Profile
Significant experience in asset management within a rental or production environment.
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
Strategic mindset with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
Ability to manage complex workloads and shifting priorities.
Solid financial knowledge, especially in CapEx planning and asset performance evaluation.
Familiarity with event production technologies such as lighting, rigging, video, and audio.
Experienced in negotiating with suppliers and managing long-term partnerships.
Proficient with asset control systems (Winhits preferred).
Strong attention to detail, with proven analytical and reporting skills.
Advanced knowledge of Excel; Power BI experience is an advantage.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch and French is highly desirable.
Open to travel across Belgium, the Netherlands, and France as required.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the regional Asset Management and Inventory Control teams.
Coordinate the workload and consignment assignments across the asset team to drive operational efficiency.
Monitor the Winhits system and booking schedules to ensure optimal use of available equipment.
Oversee and maintain physical inventory across the BeNeFra region, including planning and executing regular stock counts.
Develop and manage inventory purchase plans in alignment with CapEx budgets and strategic rental demand.
Negotiate long-term rental agreements with suppliers where beneficial.
Manage sub-rentals with a focus on pricing and contractual terms.
Review and validate purchase orders and intercompany POs for accuracy and timely processing.
Collaborate with Commercial teams to track and support Deal Desk activities.
Provide regular updates on asset availability and shortages to key stakeholders.
Identify and lead disposal or resale of underutilised or obsolete equipment.
Drive equipment transfers across EU regions to reduce CapEx spending and increase usage.
Contribute to long-term project planning and investment at the EMEA level.
Serve as an advisor on technology and investment decisions across business segments.
Work closely with internal departments including Production, Warehouse, and Commercial to maintain cross-functional coordination.
Conduct regular team meetings and annual performance evaluations.
Travel to other PRG locations within the region as needed.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and standards at all times.
