PRG is looking for an experienced and motivated Asset Manager to join our BeNeFra team. Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in maximizing the utilisation and profitability of PRG’s rental inventory. You will manage physical inventory, coordinate inter-branch transfers, and support the strategic movement and disposal of equipment across the EU region. Your proactive collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to driving operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Proven experience in asset management within a rental or live events environment.
Solid understanding of the live events and production rental industry.
Familiarity with inventory control systems (WinHits or similar preferred).
Strong knowledge of lighting, video, audio, or rigging equipment used in the industry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities under pressure.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make cost-effective decisions.
Financially aware, with the ability to assess the impact of actions on profitability and CapEx.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; database and reporting skills are a strong advantage.
Confident in negotiating sub-rentals and supplier terms to benefit the company.
Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Willing to travel occasionally to other PRG locations as required.
Oversee the management and strategic use of physical inventory across assigned regions.
Maximize asset utilisation while identifying cost-saving opportunities and profit growth.
Monitor, reconcile, and support sub-rental activity across the group to address shortages effectively.
Maintain detailed awareness of equipment availability and opportunities for reallocation or disposal.
Notify the Head of Asset Management of any assets identified for potential sale or decommissioning.
Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors for inventory disposal opportunities.
Collaborate with the Transport Team to ensure equipment is moved cost-effectively and efficiently.
Liaise with EU group operations to explore opportunities for cross-border equipment transfers, reducing CapEx needs.
Coordinate with Production and Account Managers on the logistics of asset transfers across PRG sites, including barcode tracking, scheduling, planning, and reviewing movements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s inventory and associated systems.
Attend and contribute to team and group meetings, sharing insights and operational updates.
Undertake special projects or additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Asset Management or Operations Director.
Stay informed on evolving technologies, operational trends, and Health & Safety protocols.
Follow and enforce company policies, procedures, and health and safety guidelines.
